The group meets on the second Thursday of every month from noon-3 p.m. in our office.

Childbirth Preparation Class

Our goal is to support women in natural childbirth and minimal intervention in the process of birth. It is our belief that all first time mothers and any woman who has not experienced an non-medicated, natural childbirth should receive comprehensive childbirth preparation. There are many philosophical approaches and instruction methods for assisting women in meeting this goal - Hypnobirthing, Lamaze, Bradley, etc. We encourage you to visit our Helpful Resources page to learn more about birthing methods and what is right for you. We will support you in whatever method you choose.

For your convenience, we offer Lamaze-based childbirth preparation classes in our office. This is an ongoing series taught by Jen Hutchison, a certified Lamaze instructor. Please visit www.yourchildbirthjourney.com for more information or to register.

Hypnobabies

Greenville Midwifery Care & Birth Center is pleased to offer Hypnobabies in our office! This class is taught by Julie Byers. For more information, please visit www.juliebyers.com/hypnobabies.
